Black Gold Compost - Best used for amending old soil, or adding nutrients to stale soil

Compost is a type of soil amender made of decayed organic material and is used as a natural plant fertilizer or soil amender.  Our Black Gold compost is full of beneficial nutrients and microbes, ideal for amending gardens. Simply till or mix into existing soil (1:4 ratio), or sprinkle on as topsoil to improve structural and biological diversity, which increases nutrient pathways to your plants.  This improves water retention, and produces healthier plants whether in landscaping, flower beds or improving vegetable yields.  We do not however recommend using our Black Gold compost soil amender as it is as as seedlings will burn up due to the concentration of the soil amender.  We have had customers have great success adding Black Gold to their vegetable and flower gardens, landscaping shrubbery, encouraging lawn growth in empty or bald spots, and more!

Garden Blend Soil - To be used as-is, to fill empty garden beds

A year after selling our ever-popular Black Gold Compost, by popular request, we launched a second product, our Garden Blend, which can be used as-is to fill empty garden beds.  The initial blend was a mixture of our popular Black Gold compost with sand.  Upon requesting regular feedback from our loyal and trusted customers, we've since further improved this product by adding clean sawdust to the Black Gold and sand blend, which has improved surface tension making the soil remain much fluffier for better water drainage and to not become compact and dense after rainfall.  We've since had incredible feedback on the new & improved Garden Blend, and plan to continue improving our soil products!
